Nomination Criteria & Eligibility
Criteria: All nominations should be respected members of the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Communities in their respective fields. Complete contact information of the person submitting the nomination and the persons/businesses being nominated is required, as well as a brief narrative as to the reason you are nominating the persons/businesses. All nominations must be received by August 19th, 2016.
Eligibility: CAI board members and their family members are not eligible to be considered as a nominee for the CAI Awards. Past award winners in each category are not eligible to be nominated in that same category, but are eligible to be nominated in other categories.
Selection Process: CAI Award winners will be determined by on-line voting – August 22nd – September 7th, 2016.
Awards Ceremony: The final results will be announced at the “Caring for Our Community” Celebration held on September 10, 2016, following a plated dinner and dessert. Nominees are encouraged to attend. If a nominee is not able to attend, a representative for the nominee should be designated to receive the award at the ceremony.
